Manchester International Airport Switches to New Name
It is now official - Manchester International Airport has adopted a new name to reflect its growing role as an air travel facility for Boston, Massachusetts. As of 2006, Manchester International Airport has become Manchester Boston Regional Airport. The name change is expected to help inform air travelers how near the airport is to the city of Boston, and to the vital business centers situated north of Boston. It also shows that Manchester Boston Regional Airport is now predominantly a domestic flights airport, though Air Canada operates a flight to Toronto from the airport. Read More
