 Location and factsSan Diego-Lindbergh Field Airport is located two miles or three kilometers northwest of San Diego in California USA. So many passengers travelling to America will have their first impressions just by arriving at the San Diego Airport. The art contestAt this contest children and youth all over the world take participation by drawing, modeling or designing their little arts on given topic. After the contest organizers and sponsors make a calendar with pictures of winning creations. This will be great fun for young people during their stay at the airport. Can you imagine how happy they will be if some of their drawing is listed there? The happiness will be endless. Airport facilitiesThe airport offers many facilities for its passengers. You can try real American hamburger or something else at the restaurants or drink your coffee between two flights. For foreign tourists there is a special service that gives information how to get to the city and what places to visit. You can even send a post card to your friends and relatives with greetings from California, or send them a package with present. This is ideal place for shopping thanks to ATM machines are allocated on every step. There are banks, exchange offices where you can get your cash or exchange currencies. If you loose your baggage you can visit baggage claim area that is new and personal there is really kind and offers great help and support. The airport is accessible for passengers with disabilities and provides special services for them. Facilities for disabled peopleThe management of the airport take care everything to be in order when we are talking about disabled people. These passengers at the airport are provided with telephones and also there are lifts for easier access to the airport and the levels on the airport. There are also parking facilities for disabled people. In this way they are in comfort and not loosing too much time on the airport.
