Ontario International Airport Adopts New Name of LA/Ontario International Airport
It's official - as of 2006, Ontario International Airport was renamed the
LA/Ontario International Airport instead. The move to rename the Ontario,
California public airport was initiated so that people would not think that
the airport is located within Ontario, Canada - and also to bring in
travelers who would otherwise have gone to the nearby Los Angeles
International Airport.

I Said Orlando International Airport, not Orlando Sanford International Airport
It is easy to get confused about which Orlando airport is which, especially
if you are new to Orlando, Florida. To clarify things, Orlando
International Airport is the busiest airport in the state. Orlando Sanford
International Airport is another airport which serves the Greater Orlando
area of Florida. But both Orlando airports are located within Orlando,
Florida, hence the similarity in names. |

Paris Orly Airport - Top French International Airport no moreThe reason Paris Orly Airport is no longer the top dog among France's
international airports is because the nearby Charles de Gaulle airport has
been assuming more and more of the load for international flights.
Nowadays, Paris Orly Airport is responsible mostly for charter traffic and
domestic flights to French destinations, though over 30 carriers also rely
on it for medium-haul and long-haul flights too at present. |

Parking is a Breeze at Portland International AirportPortland International Airport has unveiled a new Parking Guidance System
that aims to ease the search for appropriate parking slots in the parking
garage by drivers. The Parking Guidance System will inform drivers how many
parking slots are open for use in each level. As the driver goes to the
level where such parking slots are available, the system relies on more
signs, as well as individual space detectors, to show you to your spot. You
can tell where the open parking space is by the green light over it. |
