Berry Field Airport adopted new name of Nashville International Airport in 1988
Anyone who likes music has probably heard of Nashville but how many people
have actually heard of Nashville International Airport? It's not surprising
that many people are not aware that there actually is a Nashville
International Airport because there are just a handful of carriers that use
this airport. As of 2006, there were only 11 airlines serving the airport
with 424 average flights per day. Despite its relative anonymity, this
airport surprisingly has four runways which gives it leverage compared to
other airports which may have just one or two runways at the most. This
airport is located in the southeastern part of Nashville, in the state of
Tennessee. |
