Parking Services
Melbourne Airport provides four parking areas whose operations are for 24
hours daily, depending on your need. They have a Short Term Car Park that
is the foremost parking space in the airport, located directly across the
terminals, at about 100 meters. This parking is suitable for those dropping
off or picking up passengers from the airport. It is also good for those
who have to attend to business in an out-of-town place for just a couple of
hours. At 200 meters away is the Multi-Level Long Term Car Park that has
2000 spaces to cater to those needing long term parking facilities. At 200
meters more is the Long Term Car Park. They provide a 24-hour Courtesy Bus
Service for free for the convenience of the passengers. For the business
people, there is the Business Car Park found across the first and third
terminals.
Airport Transport
Melbourne Airport provides several car rental companies for those who would
like to rent a car for their stay in Melbourne. The can choose from
companies like Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, and Thrifty Car Rental. Taxi
services are also available at the ground floor although for those with a
limited budget, it is better for them to take a car instead. Visitors can
also opt to take Skybus, a shuttle service that takes them from airport to
the central business district of Melbourne and nearby hotels. This service
is available every hour every day. They have buses leaving every 10 to 15
minutes during the day and 30 to 60 minutes in the evening. Public buses
are also available from the airport terminal to several areas in Melbourne.

Hotels in the Area
There are three hotels that are only five minutes away via walking from the
terminal precinct. The nearest is the Hilton Melbourne Airport at 100
meters away. They can take the covered pedestrian walk from all terminals.
The next at 400 meters away is the Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport. They
provide shuttle services for a nominal fee. Last is the Motel Formule 1
hotel at 600 meters from the terminal precinct which is about a 5 minute
walk.
