There are several ways how to get to this airport and also a lot of transport means how to travel from the airport to Osaka. If you want to use public transportation, on the airport you can find a lot of direct buses to your hotel or destination. These buses are well equipped with all modern facilities. You can also use a train. For this you have two options: to use Japan Railways and Nankai Railways. The price for one way ticket depends on if you have prior reservation or not. If you want to go on some other island you have possibility to take charter plains or ferry. The ferry will immediately transfer you to your final destination. And you should not worry that you can be stocked in a traffic jam at this airport. Japanese have solved this problem long time ago. You are not recommended to travel from Kansai International Airport to Osaka by taxi because of long distance and this kind of transport is very expensive in Japan.

As I mention above this airport is newly constructed but I did not mention that this airport has only one terminal. Because high frequency of the passengers at this airport the management of the Kansai International Airport decided to start an expansion soon after this airport is built. All works is expected to be finished this year. In this way the airport can meet all its requirements for increased demands of passengers. The management expects high profit with this investment.

Kansai International Airport one of the worlds most beautiful airports

For me personally this airport is one of the most beautiful airports in the world. Why? It is located on artificial island in the sea near Osaka. And on that island there is nothing else but this airport. And because it is constructed on the sea the landing of the planes is easier.

There is only one hotel at the island where the Kansai International Airport is located. Hence it is a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Here you can find polite personnel and some privileges for their regular customers. Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport is first class hotel and it is used by businessmen for meeting with their partners. The Hotel also has a large conference hall equipped with all necessary facilities for business people. If you don't wish to stay in this hotel there are a lot of other hotels in the center of Osaka. But, you are advised to book a room before you go there because the rooms in this hotels are often full. The payment can be done by credit card no matter where you are located.
